Assignment 1 (Preliminaries)
Due Date: January 23, 2001 in class
The first goal is to start interacting with the SML/NJ system or the
Objective Caml system. For
general information about SML/NJ including downloads, libraries, help, etc
consult
the SML/NJ
page. For similar information about Objective Caml, consult the
following page.
The second goal is to get acquainted with the book and the
basic mathematics needed for the course.
The actual assignment
consists of doing the following exercises in Chapters 1 and 2 of the book.
- Chapter 1: Exercises 9, 11, and 13.
- Chapter 2: Exercises 14 and 15.
