CHANGE OF DATE for UO PROGRAMMING CONTEST By popular request, our Programming Competition has been rescheduled to avoid Easter weekend. The Fourth Annual UO Programming Competition will be held on Wednesday evening, April 26, 5:00-8:30pm. The Contest involves grad and undergrad divisions. Participation is by 3-person teams in the undergrad contest and 2-person teams in the grad contest. Teams are expected to produce working programs for proposed problems that emphasize both programming skills and problem-solving ability. The environment will provide Java, C, and C++. The CIS Department will provide dinner for the participants during the Contest. Prize: The winning-team members in each division will receive a gift certificate at the UO Bookstore and their names will be inscribed on the plaque in the CIS display case.
